Meet Sarah

Travel has always been a part of my life. I took my first trip to Hawaii with my grandmother when I was six years old and my favorite game as a child was Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?, a virtual scavenger hunt that took me around the globe to far off locales. Whether real or virtual, travel has always been one of my favorite learning tools. After finishing my “formal” learning at Stanford University, where I met inspiring people from all over the world, I made a pact with myself to visit one new place each year.

Since then, I’ve had the great fortune of living, working, and traveling around the world. I’ve ventured through some breathtaking places and survived some thrilling adventures in Brazil, Panama, London, Italy, Paris, Mexico, and across the United States, all the while seeking out inspiring art, culinary delights, and advice from locals on where to go next.

One thing I know for sure: travel is a luxury. Luxury isn’t meaningless consumption; it’s having experiences that touch your soul. I’ve had so many of these luxuries and I share them through my stories on my blog. I highlight the humanity, history, and connection that weaves us all together, no matter where we are from.

I’d love to hear from you…please share your thoughts below.
